Right now getting into ImAnna means creating an account and waiting for a person to review it. That worked while there were a few dozen of you. It does not scale, and it is not how we want the front door to look.
Open beta is next. Here is exactly what it will be, so nobody has to guess.
A free account, and it stays free
No subscription. No per-seat fee. No per-project charge. There is one account type and it has everything in it — every surface, every module, the whole build flow. We do not sell a bigger Anna.
That is a deliberate choice and worth saying plainly: a beta where the interesting half is locked behind an upgrade tells us nothing about whether the product works.
2,000 credits to test with
Every new open-beta account starts with 2,000 free credits — US$2 of AI work at the rate below. That is real work, not a demo: enough to point Anna at something, watch her scope it, and see a build come back.
Nothing is charged to get them, and there is no card on file.
Then you pay only for what you use
1000 credits = US$1. Credits are prepaid and they buy exactly one thing: the AI work behind a task — planning it, generating the mockup, writing the real files, reviewing them.
Two things about that price matter more than the number:
- You see it before it runs. Anna estimates a build and shows the range in credits, next to your
balance, and waits. Nothing large starts behind your back.
- If you never buy credits, you are never charged. There is no trial that quietly becomes a bill.
Bringing your own AI key is also supported: you pay your provider directly, and ImAnna adds a 1% brain fee on top.
What happens to the closed beta
Nothing bad. Accounts approved during the closed beta keep working exactly as they are, with the balance they already have. You do not need to re-register.

When
We are not going to invent a date. What we will say is what has to be true first: the signup path has to survive real volume without a human in the loop, and the credit grant has to be safe to hand out automatically. Both are being worked on now, and this post gets updated when it ships.
